SOMETHING FISHY

The Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen’s Association (FKCFA), aka Monroe County Commercial Fishermen Inc. is your lobby for maintaining a future fishing industry in the Keys. We adopted the new name because we are active both statewide and nationally. Plus, everyone recognizes the name “Florida Keys” more than “Monroe County!” Our challenges are great, ranging from the preservation of our working waterfronts, to battling excessive state and federal fishing regulations.

Only if we all pull together can we continue to keep you,

the Florida Keys commercial fishermen in business!

Without your support, we can't protect our commercial fishing industry!!

Members support these efforts by contributing their dues and making extra contributions      time.

We all need to pitch in to ensure that our fisheries are sustainable.

This way all people in Monroe County will continue to make a living at commercial fishing.

Indeed, the survival of all commercial fishing in the Florida Keys is at risk from loss of our

working waterfront, excessive fishing regulations and an ever growing recreational fishery.
