MARINE DEBRIS PREVENTION AND REMOVAL PROGRAMS
 
For the last 10 years, the FKCFA has consistantly worked with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, as well as Monroe County's State Park's  and local organizations to keep public areas clean of marine debris, please continue to visit this page to get up to date information on these efforts.

On a short trip in the Middle Keys (9am-3pm) we (7 people- including captain) were able to retrieve-
 
5 stone crab traps
5 intact lobster traps (some broken)
Drive shaft and prop for small boat
Industrial ventilation/fan panel
Lots of rope and monofilament
